Mentoring in the Disability Leadership Programme!
In the Disability Leadership Programme, we support committed people with disabilities in taking their place in leadership and creative roles. The mentors play a central part in this.
Why this support is so valuable
Mentoring empowers participants to deepen their personal and professional development, consciously reflect on experiences and role models, build self-confidence and self-efficacy, find orientation in working life, and further develop leadership and decision-making skills.
What forms of mentoring are there?
· In leadership mentoring experienced leaders from civil society, administration or business accompany a participant on their journey.
· In peer mentoring, people with disabilities accompany other people with disabilities, share experiences, offer encouragement and open up new perspectives.
· In coaching mentoring, professional coaches work together with participants on individual issues.
Each participant takes advantage of at least one mentoring or coaching programme.
