Declaration on the duty to provide information (privacy policy)

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, we will store the data you provide for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.

If you do not want this, you can set your browser to notify you when cookies are set and only allow this in individual cases.

If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Data is sent to other EU countries for statistical processing. The IP address of the user is anonymised (additional snippet in the tracking code: ga(“set”, “anonymizeIp”, true)).
Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localisation is possible.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the standard contractual clause ‘Privacy Shield’.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offering and our website. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.

User data is stored for a period of 26 months.

Newsletter

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter via our website and have given your consent during the registration process, we will process the personal data you have provided for the purpose of adding you to our newsletter distribution list. In doing so, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Once you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration (‘double opt-in’).

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by revoking your consent using the opt-out button at the end of the newsletter or by sending an email to office@vereinrightnow.at. In this case, we will immediately remove you from our newsletter distribution list.

The personal data you provide will only be transferred if we use external service providers to process our newsletter mailings. We have concluded a contract with such external service providers for order processing in accordance with Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation. In this contract, we oblige external service providers to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to take appropriate data security measures.

Image and video recordings

We take photographs and film during our events for the purpose of publication on our website (Ohrenschmaus.net) and/or our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). By participating in the events, you consent to the publication of photographs in which you are depicted.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
